Crooked Tree Coffeehouse September 13th, 2008
Defend Darfur Dallas co-sponsored Dallas Artists Rally for Urgent Relief (D.A.R.F.U.R.) in Darfur's Tents of Hope tent painting at the Uptown Dallas Crooked Tree Coffeehouse. Students from the Dallas International School came out to paint the Dallas Holocaust Museum's tent, and friends and supporters came to watch the painting and enjoy the incredible artwork of Fred Mutebi and photographic portraits by Adam Fish. Beverly Parkhurst Moss came out and talked about her book, "The Lost Girls of Sudan," with our attendees. We had a great time despite Ike, and raised awareness of Darfur! Thanks D.A.R.F.U.R.! For more information please see the video on the homepage.
